Since the organization’s founding in 1980, our work has reached more than 8 million students and 328,000 teachers in classrooms across the country, developing fluent readers and skilled writers, supporting instructional equity, transforming discipline practices, and bolstering student and teacher engagement.

Who you are: Regional Director, Sales - Southern Region

The Regional Director (RD)is responsible for leading regional revenue growth and market expansion across a defined territory. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development and Sales, this role sets and executes regional sales strategy, leads and develops a high-performing sales team and builds strategic partnerships with school, district and state-level leaders.

Who We Need:

The RD supports the region’s sales team and aligns Collaborative Classroom programs with local funding and initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

Regional Sales Leadership & Strategy aligned to organizational priorities, revenue targets, and market opportunities.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting ensuring opportunities are strategically prioritized, advanced, and aligned to revenue goals.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion to achieve annual regional revenue goal through a balanced focus on new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
Strategic Partnerships & Field Influence by engaging in consultative sales conversations with senior district and state leaders to influence decision-making and secure high-value partnerships.
Data-Informed Execution & Reporting by leveraging Salesforce and systems to monitor pipeline health, sales activity, and revenue performance.

Education & Experience

Master’s degree required
Teaching and/or administrative credentials preferred.
Proven experience in K–12 sales leadership, revenue generation, and territory management.
Strong understanding of school and district buying cycles and instructional decision-making processes.
Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and managing robust pipelines.

Compensation Range: $118,000 to $132,000 annual salary

This is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate’s geographic location, education, demonstrable network with key school district decisionmakers, job-related knowledge, and level of sales competencies and experience. This range is for the CA location and may be adjusted to the labor market in other geographic areas. This position is eligible for the RD Sales Incentive Plan.

As part of our Total Compensation Program, Collaborative Classroom offers a comprehensive employee benefits package that includes: a 403b plan with generous company contributions; group medical, dental and vision coverage; life, AD&D and disability insurance; and flexible spending accounts. Our time off accrual program includes vacation (starting with 17 days in years 1-3 and 22 days at year 4), 10 sick days/calendar year, 10 paid holidays (including a company-wide winter shutdown in December not counted as vacation), 5 days/year company-funded disability, and emergency medical donor program for employees who may have exhausted their time-off accruals.
