The Administrative Assistant will represent Epilepsy Alliance Florida (EAFLA) in a professional manner both in person, on the phone and when greeting visitors.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Receive all mail and packages, stamp, open and distribute.
Answer phones with courtesy and politeness, route calls correctly and take accurate messages.
Receive and log daily all payments received, complete daily cash log and create thank you letters to donors within 48 hours.
Enter donor information in Blackbaud.
General administrative duties such as filing, copying, mailings, etc.
Manage volunteer logs, files, and schedules.
Track office supplies for all departments
Treat colleagues, customers, donors, and board members with respect; always reflect professionalism and cooperative spirit.
Organize tasks efficiently, maintain focus and stay productive.
Occasional errands as needed.
Participate in EAFLA`s fundraising actives, staff, and department meetings.
Abide by all EAFLA and state policies, procedures, and mandates.
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Represent the agency in a positive manner at all times.
Completion of all other task related to this position as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers, clients, and donors.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary internal and external customer service.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook.
Must be highly organized.
The ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.

Salary Range: $18 - $20 per hour
