We are seeking an energetic and passionate human services professional to serve as a Team Coordinator at one of our team locations. The Team Coordinator will be a passionate leader who can successfully assist in directing and assisting staff to provide high-quality services to individuals we support.

This job opening is located in the ODU area of Norfolk. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 10a-6pm with on-call, exempt status.

Job duties to include:

Provide team orientation to newly hired employees.
Participate in regular supervisory meetings with staff supervised.
Plan and facilitate core team meetings, monthly team meetings, and other group meetings as may occur.
Coordinate and implement quality assurance systems regarding routine documentation practices and all record-keeping systems.
Plan and document corrective actions for individual staff when standard job requirements are not met.
Acknowledge on an individual, team, and agency-wide basis, the accomplishments, and talents of the team or individual staff.
Provide supervision and support to volunteers or intern students.
Provide leadership to team supervised in following agency policies, as they currently exist, and participate in the development and implementation of future agency policies and goals.
Act as a role model for staff in teaching and providing assistance to persons served by Hope House Foundation in completing activities associated with a daily living routine; those activities include, but are not limited to cooking, cleaning, laundry, hygiene, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, banking, transportation, obtaining and taking medications as prescribed, relocation, etc.
Provide leadership to staff in assisting persons served in integrating into the community, and spending leisure time engaged in activities that the individual enjoys.
Ensure overall management of funds belonging to individuals served is completed according to agency policy.
Convey or ensure the conveyance of all pertinent information regarding persons served to the team.
Maintain an overall awareness of services being provided, and provide support to the team when changes or improvements need to be made.
Ensure compliance with state licensure and Medicaid waiver regulations.
Review and complete payroll for the service location.
Calculate and submit Medicaid billing to the accounting department.
Understand and monitor the service location budget.
