We are searching for a full-time staff member to join our Tax & Audit practices. This individual will assist in tax preparation during tax compliance season as well as support the preparation of audit reporting during non-tax season. This position will be based in Naperville.

Essential job duties:

Tax Support:

Provide administrative assistance by scheduling meetings, handling phone calls, email correspondence, and client interactions in person.
Organize and scan client workpapers and interact through the client portal
Assist in copying and assembling tax returns and organizing relevant materials and data.
Enter and maintain accurate records related to tax filings and other tax matters
Assist in tracking important deadlines, ensure that tax filings are completed on time.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Audit Support:

Process incoming audit confirmations
Assist in producing audit reports issued to each client
Provide administrative support to the audit team with ad hoc projects

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study
Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe experience required
0-3 years of tax or audit experience
Experience with UltraTax or QuickBooks a plus, but not required
Deadline driven
Willing to work additional hours during heavier tax seasons
Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
Highly motivated, self-starter
