FUND DEVELOPMENT: Meets or exceeds fundraising and stewardship goals established by leadership; identifies, researches, and implements sources of gift support, including individuals, corporations, grants, events, community organizations, and foundations; coordinates the Memorial Golf Classic; in partnership with the Auxiliary President, provides oversight to the Memorial Auxiliary Gala and serves on its committee, filling vacated roles; ensures attainment of the organization’s fund development activities through the selection, development, motivation and evaluation of human resources, both professional and volunteer; designs and assures implementation of cost-effective fund development programs; with assistance of Marketing develops solicitation materials, case statements, branding materials and event coordination; solicits contributions on behalf of the organization; appropriately represents the institutions, its board and executive staff to donors and prospects; develops a balanced funding mix of donor sources and solicitation programs tailored to the needs of the organization and the wants/needs of the donor; builds long-term relationships with key donor segments and the community; provides recognition of donations; develops, implements, and maintains programs that attract, retain and motivate donors and fundraising volunteers; develops necessary internal (donor database) and external financial reports and documents. AUXILIARY: Provides support and general guidance to Memorial Health’s Auxiliary and its Twigs. COLLABORATION: Collaborates with the Memorial Health Foundation Executive Director to implement the organization’s philanthropic direction and goals across the system, which are identified by the governing bodies; adheres to the highest of ethical standards in all dealings; demonstrates the organization’s mission and values; plans and executes current, programs and develops new programs based on short and long range objectives. Exhibits behaviors reflective of Memorial’s core values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Attends all mandatory education and in-services (i.e., team training, safety, infection control, etc.); completes mandatory health requirements. Employee performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s and department’s Ethics and Compliance program and is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer, or the hospital hotline. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, Non-Profit Management or related field; at least three (3) years of experience in fundraising/development, coordinating special events; and volunteer recruitment and/or management.
