Our client, a non -profit organization dedicated to improving access to treatment and support for children battling cancer, require an experienced Fundraising Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be primarily responsible for identifying and securing corporate sponsorships, partnerships and donations as well as developing fundraising strategies, and building lasting relationships with corporate donors and partners to help the organization achieve its mission and expand its impact.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/div>Identify, cultivate, and engage corporate donors, both local and international.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Utilize professional networks to connect with potential corporate donors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision -makers, CSR managers, and business leaders.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Develop and execute strategic fundraising campaigns targeting corporate sponsors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Prepare compelling funding proposals, sponsorship packages, and grant applications aligned with corporate interests.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Leverage creative storytelling to inspire donor support and strengthen the organization’s brand message.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Secure donations, sponsorships, and partnerships through proactive solicitation and persuasive proposal presentations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Serve as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating the organization’s mission and impact.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Represent the organization at corporate events, business forums, and networking functions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising activities with organizational goals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Stay informed about industry trends and corporate CSR activities to identify new fundraising opportunities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

Ensure effective donor recognition, reporting, and engagement by providing regular updates on the impact of their contributions to build and sustain long -term partnerships.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Track fundraising performance and report progress toward set targets.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>

Requirements<\/h3>

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the nonprofit sector, healthcare philanthropy or corporate fundraising sector.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Proven connections and experience engaging with leading companies and CSR departments in Ghana.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Must possess great communication (verbal and written) and<\/span><\/span> negotiation skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Must be creative and possess strong coordination skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Must possess excellent negotiation and proposal -writing skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and possess a valid driver's license.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>
