Salary Level: This is a full-time, exempt position. The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be $57,000-$70,000. A comprehensive benefits package will be provided, including medical/dental, SEP retirement contribution, and open PTO.

SVP Portland helps nonprofits build their operational capacity and resilience, scale their community impact, and, ultimately, enable more underserved children to attend preschool. We provide capacity building support to organizations with early learning programs because research shows that addressing inequities in preschool education is critical for creating a prosperous future for all. Position Summary

The Community Impact Project Manager plays three primary roles: 1) Providing project management for SVP Partner volunteer teams, 2) Designing and overseeing internal processes, tools, and systems to ensure efficient and maximum impact of SVP’s capacity building, and 3) Implementing SVP’s evaluation strategy and continuous improvement processes.

The Community Impact Project Manager is accountable to SVP’s Director of Community Impact.

Job Responsibilities

Community Impact

Coordinate SVP’s community impact efforts under supervision of Director of Community Impact; this may include meeting scheduling, facilitation and minute recording, research, and preparation and coordination.
Develop and prepare agendas, materials, and notes for various internal committees
Track, manage, and facilitate advancement of projects and initiatives such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work, and projects agreed upon with Nonprofit Partners, in collaboration with approximately 50 Investor Partners (volunteers)
Coordinate programmatic, administrative, and special projects to support Nonprofit Partners
Maintain community impact processes, procedures, tools and systems for quality/optimized impact
Facilitate matching of Investor Partners within capacity building projects for Nonprofit Partners, in collaboration with Director of Community Impact and Relationship Manager

Data Collection, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Maintain community impact data in Salesforce (and other tools, as needed) and produce high-quality data reporting and analysis.
In collaboration with Director of Community Impact, manage and analyze impact data, dashboard reports and research; and oversee feedback loops to drive continuous improvement
Manage projects using Asana, including scheduling and managing workflows for teams

Organizing: Can arrange the necessary resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently; arranges information and files in a useful manner.
Managing and Measuring Work: Clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions; sets clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work.
Effective Communication: can communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully. Communicates directly.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience managing and coordinating teams and individuals.
Exceptional record of project management, coordination and goal attainment, partnering with groups and teams of paid professionals and/or volunteers.
Experience collecting and analyzing research, data or evidence (qualitative and quantitative) to inform communications and project management, is preferred. 
Ability to listen, synthesize and communicate key messages to diverse parties and across sectors (e.g., business, philanthropy, nonprofit, etc.)

Technical

Knowledge of Google Suite; experience with CRM data systems is preferred, and experience with Salesforce and Asana is a bonus
Proficiency in cloud-based collaborative document sharing and editing, project management, email and calendar systems
