Description

The primary role of the Philanthropy and Partnerships Content Manager is to create departmental resources to support fundraising activities, programs, and partnerships. This includes content creation for NCCER’s Build Your Future (BYF) initiative, as well as CareerStarter, and Hard Hat Heroes. The Content Manager will be a creative designer able to work across mediums to collaborate on ads, proposals, displays, web, photos, and video to support departmental objectives.

Areas of Responsibility:

1. Design collateral to support fundraising campaigns

Create visually compelling proposals, fact sheets, and impact reports to articulate organizational goals showcasing philanthropic impact
Work with partner organizations to achieve shared goals, co-brand materials, and ensure compliance with partnership agreements

2. Working with the director and team, lead creative campaigns to support NCCER initiatives inspiring stakeholder engagement to achieve programmatic goals

Build Your Future – NCCER’s national campaign to drive awareness and connection to careers in construction
Hard Hat Heroes – NCCER’s veterans support program to connect service members with careers in construction
CareerStarter – NCCER’s job awareness and career engine that fosters connections between students/job seekers, educators, and the construction industry

3. Develop meaningful stewardship pieces to communicate the impact of philanthropy to donors

Work with the director to manage reporting deadlines to ensure grant/funder requirements are met
Develop creative content to reflect industry best practices while maintaining brand standards
Plan and produce necessary creative content to showcase the impact of giving to NCCER and inspire future support

4. Work with internal marketing team to ensure appropriate brand standards are upheld both internally and externally with contractors and partners

5. Work with internal video and photo team to support the creative direction of departmental collateral and, when necessary, take the lead on creative direction for the department

6. Work on new initiatives, as assigned by the director, to support evolving departmental priorities

7. Manage creative projects to they are on time and on budget

Collaborate internally and externally with project contributors to ensure on-time delivery
Manage project budgets
Know when to escalate concerns related to time management and financial resources

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Art, or related field
Minimum two years’ experience in graphic design or communications
Excellent time management skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and project management skills
Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, detail oriented, and deadline-driven environment
Creative vision in developing and implementing campaigns
Proactive, positive team player
Strong organizational skills
Experience with Adobe creative products
Some travel may be required
