What you will be doing?

Develop relationships with community service providers and provides technical assistance related to nonprofit management. Provides community liaison/facilitation and other expertise to diverse community partners and networks.
Help aging services organizations build capacity internally to better serve their communities today and in the future.
Develop and implements activities to improve services for low-income seniors in underserved areas of the 7-county metro area, and other target populations, under a contract with the state of Minnesota, the ElderCare Development Partnership (EDP) contract.
Provide technical assistance related to grant applications and management.
Lead the design and implementation of various initiatives to help Trellis meet the organization's goals of improving the lives and well-being of older adults.
This position will require significant time working in the community with participation at some events outside of regular business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years of related experience in design, development, and implementation of program outcomes.
Experience working with cross-cultural and multi-racial communities
Experience in establishing and maintaining cooperative, effective relationships that include the provision of technical assistance/consultation in service development and dissemination.
Reliable transportation

A Bachelor's degree in social services, gerontology, health-related fields, education, nonprofit, public or business administration or related fields strongly preferred. Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Are you highly organized and detail-oriented? Do you have strong problem-solving skills? Can you successfully work independently and alongside a team? Are you great at time management? If yes, you may be perfect for this position!

WORK SCHEDULE

This position works, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with two-three in office days per week and remaining time spent working from home or in the community.
