The Assistant Director, Annual Giving plays a critical role in advancing UCF Athletics’ philanthropic initiatives by managing development events, stewarding donor relationships, and implementing innovative strategies to cultivate and retain supporters. This position directly contributes to the success of UCF Athletics’ fundraising and engagement goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Stewardship Programming: Guide stewardship and engagement strategies for the major gift program (Shareholders Society) with a focus on renewal and growth metrics.
- Coordinate Ticket Services: Provide support for Shareholder accounts in collaboration with Athletics colleagues, while assisting with annual giving-level fundraising initiatives.
- Conduct Donor Research: Prepare donor profiles for university and athletics leadership, and facilitate prospect research and assignments in partnership with Advancement colleagues.
- Manage Events: Oversee Shareholders Society special events to enhance donor experiences and relationships.
- Develop Proposals: Create compelling major gift proposals and participate in direct solicitation and stewardship of donors.
- Monitor Pledges: Manage pledge commitment and fulfillment processes to ensure a seamless donor experience.
