The Location
Glasshouse Views is a 99 Bed Aged Care Home located in Beerwah
Position Purpose
To plan and provide high quality, nutritious meals to residents and guests. Meals are provided in a
timely manner and method that are compliant with legislative requirements and in line with the
Lifestyle approach.
Requirements of the job
- Certificate III OR IV in Food Services or Commercial Cookery
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial catering or other food services for the Aged in either a Aged Care Home or hospital practice setting (desirable)
- Previous experience in the provision of meals from fresh to end product (essential)
- Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe Regulations (essential)
Awareness of the dietary requirements of the elderly (desirable.
