Mission:
Serve as the Business Relationship Manager of a national nonprofit organization that elevates the cybersecurity workforce by igniting curiosity, developing talent, and transforming career pathways.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) drives cybersecurity job creation by implementing an effective sales strategy, identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with employers to increase revenue, and collaborating with internal teams. They develop strategic plans, manage projects, and align goals with company objectives, leveraging market insights and leadership skills to achieve significant business growth. This role also engages with the Board of Directors Outreach Committee. The BRM will become an apprenticeship and workforce development expert who can engage with senior-level employers, strategic partners, and national events.
The Business Relationship Manager must possess a leadership style that encourages input, fosters a collaborative team environment, and demonstrates the following:
Must Haves:
● Capable of qualifying and generating quotes
● Experience in consultative strategic sales
● Experience in B2B sales working a targeted list of new accounts
● Takes responsibility for their accounts and actions (do not make excuses)
● Success and ability to close
● Good solid communicator (questioning, listening, and speaking)
● Goal Oriented, sets, tracks, and measures their goals
● Experience generating and prospecting referrals
● Ability to learn and is coachable
Should Haves:
● Demonstrated a minimum of 25% growth in gross profit annually in the territory from a blend of new business and existing accounts
● 7-15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
● Managed approximately 25 - 50 accounts at one time
● Responsible for entering call reports into a CRM
● Experience selling IT Services or products
Nice to Haves:

Compensation:
● Base Salary: $60,000 per year
● Additional Compensation: $10,000 to $20,000 (commission or performance-based incentives)
● Total Potential Compensation: Up to $80,000 or more annually, depending on performance
