THE ROLE:
Are you interested in becoming an early childhood professional? If so bestchance Child Family Care are currently seeking individuals with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families to join the team at Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre.
We are seeking trainees who are looking to commence their Certificate III or upskill to a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care as soon as possible. The successful applicant will have mentors to assist with all aspects of their learning and will be given study time at the centre. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn while you lean. The Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment (AATSP) is available for those that meet the eligibility criteria.
JOB DETAILS:
Armstrong Creek East Children's Centre
Location: 46-70 Central Boulevard, Armstrong Creek VIC 3217
Total Hours: 38 hours per week (rotating roster) or Part-Time options also available.
You will stand out if you:

- Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds
In addition to the above you will need the following to be considered for this role:
- Hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
- Successfully completed ‘Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector’ training
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations
All bestchance staff are required to produce a WWCC, and in some circumstances other mandatory checks will be required, as well as providing a new National/International Criminal Background Check prior to employment.
