EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field with experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensed or license-eligible required.
Have been consistently working in the position of a Crisis Care Specialist for at least nine months. The staff must not have and active train coach or corrective action in order to be considered for the position.
CREDENTIALS: Community First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, 5150/5585 certificate, Medi-Cal Documentation training required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use various computer software. Knowledge of Title 22, Division 6 licensing requirements. Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Strong human relations skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
