Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Clinical Manager to join our Adult Residential Treatment Facility in Tacoma, WA.

Function: In coordination with the Program Director, manage all clinical and administrative components of the residential treatment facility. Provide the highest quality care to adults who are challenged with mental illnesses and facilitate community care and coordination between all natural support systems. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities:
Leadership/Management
- Participate with program and agency leadership to recruit, interview, recommend hire, orient, schedule and assign work to staff. Coach, equip, supervise, and manage assigned employees.
- Supervise assigned employees.
- Support and facilitate employee retention, support employee satisfaction, retention, and professional growth.
- Manage and forecast planning of all clinical aspects of the program.
- Assist in identifying clinical program needs and develop programming that meets those needs.
- Coordinate treatment and administrative functions of the clinical team for assigned residential unit.
- Oversee therapeutic group programming and assist facilitators in their professional development and growth.
- Provide consultation, coaching and support to clinicians to ensure the requirements for services and documentation are satisfied.
- Oversee and ensure agency and program compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws, licensing, agency policies and procedures, contracts and other regulations, requirements and standards as required including WACs and Joint Commission accreditation.
- Ensure and participate in compliance with approved budget and work with Program Director to develop new sources of revenue.
- Manage, coordinate, and integrate programs with internal organization and community resources.
- Participate as a member of the performance improvement and risk management committees.
- Oversee evaluation of program intake process and work to build a census above 70 residents.
- Promote employee compliance and adherence with ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Help respond to consumer questions and concerns at the program level.
- Be on-call at least two weeks of four per month.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Program Development
- Implement program work plan consistent with goals and objectives.
- Confidence and ability to demonstrate written/verbal communication and leadership with peers, families, and respected community stakeholders.
- Participate in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
- Advise the Program Director of any arising issues or concerns in the Program.
Clinical/Treatment Services
- Participate in managing referrals, intake, and treatment planning for consumers.
- Provide clinical oversight of clinical treatment aspects of program.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with holistic treatment planning and assessments.
- Promote clinical therapeutic modeling and treatment for milieu programming.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social services or related field. WA State Licensed Psychologist preferred. 3 years clinical experience with children and/or adolescents and families.
- 2 years administrative and clinical supervisory experience preferred.
- Qualified as a Mental Health Professional. Licensure preferred.
- WA state credential/license.
- Experience with program development, therapeutic modalities, and training, proficient in computer skills and navigating electronic health record and meeting regulatory expectations.
- Clinical experience in individual and group treatment provision.
- Working knowledge of agency and program policies and procedures, contracts, and licensing requirements.
- Strong management and leadership skills, interpersonal and written and verbal communications skills.
- Availability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
