Job Summary<\/span><\/b>\- The investigation specialist is responsible for coordinating fair housing tests to uncover incidents of housing discrimination.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/p>
Duties<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in duties relative to research, creation, development, and implementation of systemic testing projects.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain and update and develop test forms.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct and manage tester recruitment; create tester training packets as needed; conduct tester training; manage tester retention<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Analyze test results; assist with enforcement reporting and case development<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct community outreach to provide information and the organization and services offered<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct client intake<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Network with other service providers to strengthen services and referrals<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Stay current with service offerings; worth with external attorneys with needed<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Represent the organization at external meetings, events, etc; participate in staff training; remained information of changes in regulations, statues, ordinances etc.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Safeguard client security and confidentiality<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Other duties as assigned<\/span>

Qualifications<\/b>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelorâs degree in related field or equivalent experience<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and possess good analytical, problem solving, and writing skills with strong attention to detail<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Demonstrate the ability to recruit and manage volunteers<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Must be organized, thorough, accurate and possess proficiency with computer and related needs<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Possess good teamwork skills and the ability to work with a diverse population<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong written and verbal skills<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to attend evening and weekend meeting as needed<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bilingual English\/Spanish a plus<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Starting salary: up to $50k+ depending on experience; competitive health insurance and benefits<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Hours: 8am to 5pm (1hour lunch) <\/span>(Hours could vary); criminal background check will be completed<\/span>
