The Role
This role will be part of a specialised team of over 130+ Real Estate professionals with deep industry knowledge and property sector expertise across the real estate investment market including funds management, development, asset management and leasing.
The Manager, Social Impact is responsible for developing and delivering a Social Impact Plan, including initiating and managing key projects and partnerships, and contributing to the successful delivery of the overarching Real Estate Sustainability strategy.
The Manager, Social Impact will work with internal and external stakeholders to help build alignment, awareness and capacity around social impact and shared value outcomes. They will be responsible for managing a diverse range of internal and external projects that support and enhance IFM’s Real Estate social sustainability performance and cultural approach across its property portfolio and operations.
Your Background and Experience
With a passion for improving the intersection between business and community, the Manager, Social Impact will have:
- proven capability working in a community or socially focussed function either client side or as a service provider, including exposure to First Nations engagement strategies, Modern Slavery risk management, social procurement, and supplier engagement activities
- working knowledge of best practice social impact frameworks, relevant reporting standards, evaluation methods, and disclosure practices
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships, specifically with social enterprise and community groups
- Experience across multiple sustainability dimensions including community, people, environment, procurement, operational practices and customer engagement
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management skills to meet deadlines and goals
- Experience in the property industry within a similar social sustainability / corporate responsibility role
