The Business Development Consultant - Philippines will play a significant part in our ongoing efforts to achieve that mission, building a thriving sales function and growing our movement in the Philippines.<\/b>

The staff will collaborate remotely with our Leadership team, Brand & Marketing team, and Membership team to build a pipeline of highly qualified enterprise leads and help us form strategic member relationships. The Business Development Consultant operates at a strategic level while also executing regularly on specific deliverables. They’ll research prospects, perform initial outreach, customize presentation materials, and work with our Leadership team to close deals.<\/b>

A history of successful B2B sales<\/b> with strategic enterprise accounts, interacting with a variety of stakeholders, including C -suite level
<\/li>Drive to move member prospects through all stages of the sales funnel<\/b>, from first meeting to closing the deals
<\/li>Demonstrated strategic partnership experience<\/b> in a diverse range of industries

Consultant Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>
Meaningfully grow our membership base in the Philippines<\/u>
<\/li>Research global member prospects in a variety of channels and industries
<\/li>Identify trends and opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements<\/b>
<\/li>Identify valuable business development networking events<\/b> to support our community engagement & events strategy
<\/li>Build a pipeline of qualified leads<\/b> through targeted outreach
<\/li>Own all logistical communication<\/b> with outbound prospects through the sales process, from initial outreach to scheduling meetings, follow -ups, and account manager hand -offs
<\/li>Schedule and orchestrate leadership support for acquisition meetings
<\/li>Create custom pitch decks <\/b>based on prospect needs and interests, and work with leadership to deliver strategic 1% for the Planet membership pitches
<\/li>Convert qualified leads <\/b>to impactful and engaged members by effectively managing all aspects of the sales process from initial meeting to close
<\/li>Work with the Business Development team to help define and meet goals that are based on a target value of the business development pipeline (using prospective member annual revenue and lifetime value/impact), sales cycle length, and lead -to -conversion rate
<\/li>Gather performance data and provide regular KPI reporting
<\/li>Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential, minimizing risk, and championing brand alignment
<\/li>Prospect for potential strategic partnerships to enhance organizational growth
<\/li>Provide unbiased cultural/localization insights to inform future growth strategies

Requirements<\/h3>
6+ years of business development experience
<\/span><\/li>Fluency in English communications and comprehension. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
<\/span><\/li>Experience delivering strategic sales pitches to enterprise clients
<\/span><\/li>CRM management (HubSpot and Salesforce <\/b>experience a plus)
<\/span><\/li>Proven relationship builder
<\/span><\/li>Strong cross -functional communicator
<\/span><\/li>Phenomenal deck -building skills and strong public speaking and presentation skills
<\/span><\/li>Superb attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
<\/span><\/li>High level of professionalism; ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including C -suite
<\/span><\/li>Established proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
<\/span><\/li>Fluency in mission -driven or sustainability work<\/b>
<\/span><\/li>High degree of initiative required
<\/span><\/li>Must be amenable to work in remote setup.<\/b>
<\/span><\/li>Travel will be required. Must also hold a valid driving license.
