Responsibilities:
Thesalesfloormanagerisresponsibleforsupervisingthesalesfloorleadsandsalesassociatesto generate revenue through the daily
processing of donated goods. The sales floor manager drives the daily workflow
of rotating and selling high volumes of donated clothing, furniture, and
householdgoods.Thestorefloormanagersupportsthestoremanagerinoperatingahigh-volume
retail operation to support the mission of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern
Louisiana.
1.Leads,supervises,andmotivatesstoreemployeestoensureaconstantrotationand flow of merchandise to the sales floor daily.
2.Supportsstaffingtheretailstorebycoaching,training,developing,andleadingthe store team.
3.Ensurescompliancewithallsafetypoliciesandprocedures.
4.Creates and maintains a
positive public image of Goodwill through a clean store environment,fulloffreshproductdaily,withafocusonexcellentcustomerservice.
5.Leadsandassistsinthereceiving,pricing,anddisplayingofstoremerchandise.
6.Opens and closes the store.
Balances cash registers and conduct end-of-day procedures.Responsibleforallcashinstore,includinginthesafe,pettycash, deposits, and cash registers.
7.Maintainsacleanandhazardfreestorethroughdailymonitoringandcleaningofall
areas.
8.Performsalldutiesofallstorepersonnelincludingoperatingacashregister,weekly pulls, hanging new donations,
cleaning of store, etc.
9.Tousethecashregisterfortotalsales,acceptpayment,authorizevoids,returns, exchanges and credits for
merchandise only.
10.Toconducthourlyfloorcheckstoensureprocessedmerchandiseisproperlyplaced on the floor.
11.Conductsdailystorewalkthroughs,dailystoreteamhuddles,andregularstore meetings.
12.Responsibleforrevenueandexpensebudgetsandworkstoachieve/exceedbudgeted goals.
13.Toassistthestoremanagerincorrectivecoachingandtraininganddevelopmentof employees.
14.Assistsinschedulingemployeeswithafocusonadequatecoverageofstore operation.
15.Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,mopping,dusting,sweeping, and cleaning the bathrooms.
16.Allotherjob-relateddutiesasrequiredbymanagement.

Requirements:
1.Highschooldiplomaorgeneraleducationdegree(GED)withaminimumof1yearof supervisory
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.2.Leadership,teambuilding,andmentoringexperienceand/ortrainingexperience preferred.3.Preferabackgroundinleadingteamsin retailsalesorothersalesexperience.4.Must have reliable
transportation. Must be able to pass MVR check and provideproof ofavaliddriver’slicense,liabilityinsurance,vehicleregistrationandacurrentvehicle inspection sticker.5.MustbeproficientincomputerskillsincludingMicrosoftOffice,Outlook,Word, Excel, Power BI and other programs.6.Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyin English.
WorkingConditions:
Frequentphysicalexertion,frequentmovement,conditionedindoortemperatureswithoccasional exposure to outdoor
temperatures and weather conditions, occasional travel in district area.
