About the Supervisor, Organ Referral Optimization
The Referral Optimization Supervisor will assist with day-to-day operations related to organ referral intake, and referral monitoring to support timely and effective donation conversations.
Daily supervision, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and developing the call schedule to maximize organ referrals and organ donation eligibility.
Assists in the development of staff training, and all aspects of continued professional development.
Timely coaching, feedback, support, and recognition.
Ensures effective utilization and management of phone systems and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Builds and maintains collaborative working relationships with all departments to ensure every aspect of the organ donation process supports Donor Network of Arizona’s mission, vision, and core values.
Compiles and evaluates reports to generate statistical feedback on referral data.
Assists with development of department strategies.
Provides back-up coverage to staff as needed.
Ensures all policies and procedures are in compliance with regulatory standards.
Establishes and maintains a department culture consistent with DNA’s Core Values and in providing consistently positive work experience for all staff.
Analyzes complex issues effectively and develops well-reasoned solutions; uses data to measure and analyze business performance, manage risk, and make decisions.
Requirements
Minimum Education:
Associate's degree, or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience:
3 years OPO experience or relevant clinical field. 1 year in a supervisory, educator, or lead role. Strategic planning and performance management experience.
Preferred experience: Knowledge of Biological Sciences. Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) certification a plus.
