Job Purpose:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>
MA’AN Development Center is seeking a qualified and committed <\/span><\/span>Project
Coordinator<\/span><\/span><\/b> to support the implementation of the Italian
Cooperation -funded project <\/span><\/span>“Provision of Humanitarian Emergency
Assistance to South Areas.”<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
The Project Coordinator will
ensure effective day -to -day coordination of field activities, including water
trucking, cistern rehabilitation, fodder and food distribution, and shelter
rehabilitation, in line with project plans and humanitarian standards.
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
The Project Coordinator will oversee and facilitate all project
activities in Hebron <\/b>Governorate. The position requires close
coordination with Local Directorates of Agriculture, village councils,
community representatives, contractors, suppliers to ensure effective and
high -quality implementation, in line with MA’AN and Donor standards and
regulation.
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Coordinate and oversee project activities under the guidance of the
Project Manager.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Conduct regular field visits to verify beneficiary selection, monitor
progress,collect data and ensure quality and accountability.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Supervise the implementation of activities such as:<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Provision of water trucking to supply drinking
water for households and water for livestock (sheep)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Rehabilitation of water cisterns/wells<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Distribution of fodder, straw, and food parcels<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Rehabilitation of livestock shelters<\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul> Assist in the procurement processes, including site assessments, contractor supervision, and
delivery verification.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Promote gender equality, inclusion, and youth participation across all
project components.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Collaborate with the Project Manager and MEAL team to monitor
indicators, document lessons learned, and report on outcomes.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Prepare and submit timely weekly and monthly field reports.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Represent MA’AN at the local level and ensure clear communication with
all stakeholders.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Uphold MA’AN’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, and
accountability standards.<\/span><\/span>

<\/div>The work schedule is 40 hours per week.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>The probation period is 3 months and can be extended to another 3 months according to the Labor Law.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Annual leave: 21 working days/year<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>National and Religious leave: 16 days per year.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Sick leave: 14 days/year<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Indemnity Payment: Equivalent to one month’s salary for each complete year of service.
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Reimbursement for work -related transportation expenses is according to MA’AN’s by - laws.
<\/span><\/span><\/li>Time flexibility is recognized by both parties with consideration that this position might need to do part of the work after 4:00pm.

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Education:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/li>Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Engineering, Development
Studies, or a related field.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/li>Minimum <\/span><\/span><\/span>3 years<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> of relevant experience
in coordinating field activities for humanitarian emergency or development
projects, preferably in WASH, food security, protection, or livelihoods.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Experience
working in Area C and with vulnerable or Bedouin communities is a strong
advantage.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Familiarity
with donor -funded project implementation and compliance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Practical
experience in community mobilization, beneficiary registration/verification,
and managing in -kind distributions.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Valid
driver’s license and ability to travel frequently across the southern region.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Professional Skills:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/li>Strong organizational and coordination abilities.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Good command of Arabic and English (spoken and written).<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Ability to work independently and under pressure.
