Job Description
The Youth Tree Team is a seven-week summer work program that introduces Youth to Trees Atlanta�s mission and a variety of �Green Collar� professions. Trees Atlanta is seeking a Part-time Youth Tree Team Coordinator to support the Youth Tree Team Supervisor with human resource and administrative tasks for the program. The Youth Tree Team Coordinator's responsibilities will include but are not limited to
-
Assist with hosting Challenge Day and the Volunteer Tree Planting for Youth Tree Team applicants

Assist with Youth Tree Team student and staff hiring processes, which include interviewing and onboarding

Provide assistance to parents/guardians with the completion of student onboarding

Prepare timecards at the end of each pay period

Assist with Youth Tree Team field trips logistics such as travel and student lunches

Assist supervisor with bi-weekly evaluations and quizzes, sending out group announcements

Ensure all tools and supplies are ordered for the duration of the Youth Tree Team

Assist with logistics with career and graduation day

Serve as a backup in the absence of a Senior Lead/Mentor
Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age
-
Have a valid driver�s license with at least a 3-year clear driving history
-
A background in outdoor education and/or leading volunteers is advantageous

Experience in project management
-
Strong communication and written skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs

Proficient in Google Drive Applications

Detail oriented
-
Great time management
-
Be comfortable driving a 12-15 passenger van and occasionally long-distance traveling

Have an updated tetanus shot
