National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation (NHCCF) inspires connection and
investment in the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic people
through art, culture, and humanities. We support the work of the National
Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC), which presents exhibitions, lectures, book
readings, performing arts, and educational programming that enrich our local
community and elevate Hispanic, Chicano, and Latinx artists to the national
stage.
This
is a great opportunity for UNM students to gain hands on experience in
nonprofit administration, marketing, and cultural programming while
contributing to an organization that celebrates and uplifts Hispanic heritage.

impact.
What
We’re Looking For Current UNM student eligible for work study Strong organizational and communication skills Interest in Hispanic arts, culture, and community engagement Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office, social media, CRM tools a plus) Reliable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn 1. Administrative Support Assist the CEO and Board of Trustees with general administrative tasks Help with scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation 2. Marketing & Program Support Support the Marketing and Development teams with projects and campaigns Assist in creating and distributing e‑newsletters to engage the community Help maintain the Foundation website with updated content Contribute to social media initiatives that highlight our programs and inspire community involvement 3. Membership Management Process membership tasks, including data entry and organization in our CRM (Raiser’s Edge/BlackBaud) Ensure accurate and timely updates to member records 4. Document Retention Work with the Foundation team to organize digital files in Teams/OneDrive Review, scan, and file documents according to the approved retention plan Identify outdated documents and coordinate secure disposal |
