Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented student worker to support planning and execution of the Baylor Hunger Collaborative’s Together at the Table: Hunger and Poverty Summit, while also assisting with ongoing marketing and communications tasks. This role is ideal for a student interested in event management, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work.
Key responsibilities include assisting with conference logistics (registration support, attendee communications, materials preparation, and on-site support), coordinating schedules and vendors, and helping ensure a smooth event experience. The student worker will also support general marketing efforts, such as updating contact lists, drafting and formatting content for emails or social media, organizing digital assets, and assisting with outreach and promotional materials.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office are required; experience with Canva or social media platforms is a plus.
