Assistant will provide both operational and programme support to ensure the
smooth functioning of office activities. The role will combine programme -related
responsibilities besides administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth
day -to -day operations of the office, effective resource management, and timely
support to staff.<\/span>

Assistance<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Support programme staff with basic
documentation, data entry, and filing.<\/span>
<\/li>Logistical support with field activities, and
in organizing public events.<\/span>
<\/li>Maintain registers for assets, materials, and
resource distribution.<\/span>

2. Administrative
Support<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Assist in photocopying, filing, scanning, and
maintaining records.<\/span>
<\/li>Handle courier, mail, and package deliveries.<\/span>
<\/li>Support vendor management including collection
of quotations, bills, and receipts.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul> <\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
3. Procurement
& Stock Management<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Maintain updated records of stock and ensure
timely replenishment.<\/span>
<\/li>Procure office supplies, consumables and
groceries as per requirements.<\/span>

<\/p>
4. Office Support
& Hospitality<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the office
premises.<\/span>
<\/li>Assist in receiving visitors and supporting
office hospitality needs.<\/span>
<\/li>Prepare and serve tea/coffee and arrange
refreshments during meetings.<\/span>

5. Other Duties<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Undertake any other tasks assigned by the
supervisor in support of office operations and programme delivery.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualification: Graduate preferred.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Previous experience as an Office/Programme Assistant or in similar
roles desirable.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, data entry).<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Strong communication skills in Bengali (reading, writing, and
speaking) are essential.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Ability to speak Hindi and English will
be an added advantage.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Good organizational and record -keeping skills.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Willing to travel to field sites as and when required.<\/span><\/span>
