Content Development and Delivery SMEs/Instructors (ST)
Summary
C² Technologies, Inc. is seeking Content Development and Delivery Subject Matter Experts/Instructors (ST) to provide high‑quality instructional support, content development, and subject‑matter expertise across DCSA CDSE divisions, including Security Training, DoD Security Training, Insider Threat, and Education. SME/Instructors play a critical role in transforming security policy, doctrine, and operational practices into engaging, accurate, and instructionally sound learning experiences for adult learners.
Responsibilities
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and content reviews for assigned security curricula.
• Develop, update, and validate instructional content aligned with DoD Security Policy and mission‑specific learning requirements.
• Deliver instruction in formal classroom environments and via virtual or distance‑learning formats.
• Collaborate closely with Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) to ensure accuracy, clarity, currency, and outcome alignment.
• Support program schedules across multiple modalities, meeting quality, delivery, and mission‑aligned expectations.
• For Education Division roles, develop academically rigorous materials suitable for undergraduate‑ and graduate‑level learners.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND at least two (2) years of experience associated with the Security Program; OR
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in security program implementation and operations within relevant discipline(s).
Experience – Required
• Current Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) at the Secret level (TS/SCI required for CI Security, Insider Threat, or SAP Security Curriculum programs).
• Demonstrated mastery of knowledge, skills, and policy related to the assigned subject‑matter domain.
• Relevant operational experience within the assigned security discipline(s).
Experience – Preferred
• Two (2+) years of experience providing instruction to adult learners in classroom or distance‑learning environments.
• Five (5+) years of experience associated with the assigned security discipline(s).
• Five (5+) years functioning as a subject‑matter expert in the assigned security discipline(s).
Tools & Software
• Classroom and virtual delivery platforms (e.g., Adobe Connect, MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
• Standard authoring and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word).
• For NCCA‑related roles: tools supporting Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, Psychophysiology, scheduling, and facilitation.
Knowledge & Skills
• Subject‑matter mastery of relevant DoD Security Policy and discipline‑specific operational practices.
• Strong instructional presence and ability to teach adult learners in both classroom and virtual environments.
• Ability to develop and review academically rigorous content, including for higher‑education contexts.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with ISDs and program stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
