DescriptionJob Summary
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering incoming calls as needed, directing calls to appropriate staff members, distributing mail as needed, and performing additional clerical duties. Secure and lock the building up at the end of the shift. This position is part-time, with evening and weekend work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Assisting clients in finding their way around the building.
- Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary, and ensuring all visitors use check-in Kiosks.
- Ensures Kiosks are up and running daily.
- Answering phones professionally, screening and routing calls as needed.
- Provides callers with information such as the company address, directions to the company location, the company website, and other related details.
- Keeps the reception and lobby areas organized.
- Assist in conveying room setup to facility volunteers.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as copying, faxing, filing, and collating.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to provide an overview of agency services and give clear instructions.
- Previous experience operating a multi line telephone system or possess the ability to master operation in a short period of time.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Competency in Google products. Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Chrome, Gmail .
- Semi-professional dress and manner.
- Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, and exhibit good leadership and excellent customer service skills.
- Must be available evenings and weekends for programs and agency-related activities.
- Willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
Education and/or Experience
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- One year’s receptionist experience.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
