The role
Own the entire CRM and data development space during a critical transformation phase. You will be THE subject matter expert for our Raiser’s Edge NXT platform, working across fundraising, finance, research, and clinical teams to elevate how data is used to drive strategy.
Own the strategic development and hands-on administration of Raiser’s Edge NXT.
This is a role without direct reports — you will lead through expertise and influence. We are looking for someone who sees a problem and proactively solves it.

• Develop data governance frameworks and implement them
• Build dashboards and insights that drive fundraising strategy
• Train users and build CRM capability across the organisation
• Partner with Finance, Fundraising, Research, and Clinical teams
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
• Maintain data quality through both systematic approaches and hands-on work
Role highlights:
• Lead the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of WRI CRM platform (Raiser’s Edge NXT) to support organisational priorities in fundraising, research, and partner engagement.
• Monitor system upgrades and emerging functionalities; translate relevant updates into practical improvements and training across the organisation.
• Champion CRM governance by establishing data standards, entry protocols, and usage policies aligned with privacy legislation, ethical fundraising codes, and internal procedures.
• Maintain a proactive approach to database hygiene, working with teams to close data gaps and prevent duplication or inconsistency
• Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for RE NXT and associated data platforms.
• Develop and deliver regular and ad hoc reports that support fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, stakeholder reporting, and organisational performance tracking.
• Design and deliver tailored training for database users across technical skill levels, supporting data literacy and confident CRM use.
• Lead the creation of a structured training curriculum and onboarding program for new users.
• Provide ongoing coaching, troubleshooting, and support to staff and teams interacting with RE NXT
It would be a benefit if you had:
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related
• Demonstrated CRM strategy and administration (RE NXT strongly preferred)
• Fundraising, health, or research sector experience
• Proven business ownership mentality – track record of proactive improvements
• Strong analytical skills – turn data into insights and visualisations
• Excellent communication – influence across technical and non-technical audiences
• Training and capacity building experience
• Self-directed work style with high autonomy
• Advanced Excel, Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of privacy legislation and fundraising ethical codes
