General Statement of Duties & Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

Responsible for assisting the Center/Executive Director or designee in providing the overall implementation of the local campus outreach program including: prevention, evangelism, discipleship and compassion. The local center outreach effort will be carried out in conjunction with the regional Outreach strategic plan which is determined by the regional Divisional Leader of Outreach and the Executive Leadership team.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Position requires specific responsibility for: 1) overall planning, development. implementation and administration of each outreach program including; prevention, evangelism, discipleship and compassion.; 2) responsible for the purchasing, inventorying, maintenance, repair, storage and management of required equipment and supplies utilized in conjunction with the Outreach program; 3) assisting the Center/Executive Director or designee in program planning and budget preparation for the program component; 4) preparing of statistical data reports as required; 5) state wide travel; 6) participating with other outreach coordinators in formulating and effecting management policy and procedure; and 7) supporting other program functions as needed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

This position is determined to be a ministry staff position by role and function. Duties will include when necessary or directed: Leading prayer and Bible studies, discipling students and others, conducting evangelistic or humanitarian outreaches, and teaching religious or non -religious instruction.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Further, this individual must fully embrace ATCPacWest outreach programs including; prevention, evangelism, discipleship and compassion. This position is key to a Center’s ability to express the many ways Christ can make a difference in a community’s life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Considerable knowledge of the methods and practices of supervision and the ability to carry them out is required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Considerable knowledge of administrative procedures and the ability to apply those principles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Working knowledge of sound equipment, projector, and related production equipment and the ability to apply that knowledge.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Possess leadership skills and ability to build a dynamic outreach ministry and supporting student teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Considerable ability to work harmoniously with and to supervise the work of program students.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Emotional maturity, professional objectivity and the ability to act in a Christian manner.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Ability to carry out recommendations and directives of the Center/Executive Director or designee;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Experience and Training:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

<\/div>

It is recommended that individuals who fill this position have a background in evangelistic endeavors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

It is recommended that individuals who fill this position be credentialed minister with ATCPacWest or similar organization.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

Three years of Adult and Teen Challenge experience is preferred, other ministry experience will be considered.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>

High school Diploma or GED is required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

1.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Possession of, or ability to obtain within 30 days, a valid driver's license in State of domicile.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
