Position Overview
The Marketing Communications Assistant supports the planning and execution of live promotional and fundraising events. This is a client-facing, event-based role ideal for someone energetic, organized, and comfortable working with the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events
- Represent clients at live fundraising campaigns
- Engage attendees and communicate campaign goals
- Support donation tracking and donor follow-up
- Help create marketing materials and social content
- Provide on-site event coordination and administrative support
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
