At STRI we are hiring for our clients who are a reputed NGO. We are looking for Civil Engineers with experience in handling School Construction Projects.

Designation: Senior Associate
<\/p>
<\/p>
The Senior Associate/Lead Associate will be responsible for inspecting the project sites, monitoring progress, and compiling reports on project status.
<\/p>
<\/p>
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/b>
<\/p>
Visit and support the infrastructure needs analysis for the schools and NGOs
<\/li>Effectively coordinate projects using project management tools and ensure timelines of the project are met under the guidance of project manager
<\/li>Visit and monitor projects and maintain good working relationships with School management, Government departments, contractors, and vendors
<\/li>Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available and the desired quality is achieved
<\/li>Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations/documents to the relevant stakeholders.
<\/li><\/ul>Preferred Education Qualifications and Experience:<\/b>
<\/p>
<\/p>
Diploma or Polytechnic or B.E. in Civil Engineering - Preferred
<\/li>Work experience in Civil and Infrastructure projects – 4 to 7 years
<\/li>Experience with any Project Management tools would be an advantage.
<\/li>Should be able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
<\/li>Prior experience in the non -profit sector would be an advantage
<\/li>Prior experience with documentation and preparation of Reports
<\/li>Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects
<\/li><\/ul>

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/b>
<\/p>
Good interpersonal and communication skills – English, Tamil & Hindi (speaking)
<\/li>Ability to speak in Hindi will be an added advantage
<\/li>Good computer skills – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Autocad – Preferred
<\/li>Goal oriented professional with team working skills
<\/li>Having a two -wheeler – preferred
<\/li>Willingness to frequently travel locally and nationally
<\/li><\/ul>
