POSITION SUMMARY:
The Job Coach provides quality support for individuals with disabilities at their community-based job. By helping to create and promote strong work systems, the goal is to help the participant become as independent as possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Review the file for each participant you are scheduled to work with before your shift.

Provide travel training as needed, to the CIS office or to new place of employment.

Work effectively with your team members, members of the business development team, benefits counseling team, and CIS employees in specialized areas to support participants in the best possible way.

Maintain a detailed record of on-site performance by completing case notes daily.

Obtain participants schedules and report all schedules and appointments to the scheduling team by the required due date. Report any subsequent changes to the scheduler immediately.

Follow schedule as it is sent and alert appropriate people of any changes.

Read and respond, if needed, to all CIS emails and text messages in a timely manner.

Participate in meetings when scheduled.

Train other coaches at job sites, as needed.

Report any unusual incidents or employer concerns immediately.

Contribute to own skills and knowledge by attending and completing assigned training.

Follow schedule as it is sent and alert appropriate team members of any changes.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Norwood PA- We are seeking a Job Coach to support a dedicated woman who has been a valued team member at a nonprofit for seven years. She works on Mondays from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Your primary responsibility will be to promote her independence, expand her workplace skills, and collaborate with staff to create a supportive environment. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to enhance her job satisfaction and foster continued professional growth.
Lansdowne PA - As a Job Coach, you will provide direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a warehouse for over four years. He works from Tuesday through Thursday, from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM. You will assist him in gaining and maintaining essential job skills while fostering his independence in the workplace. This rewarding position offers you the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on his life, while enhancing his overall work experience.
Media PA- Join us as a Job Coach to support a committed man employed at a car dealership for 11 years. He works Fridays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You will coach him in advancing job-related skills, increasing his role, and navigating workplace interactions. This rewarding position lets you make a significant difference in his day-to-day work performance and long-term career stability.
Brookhaven PA - As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for providing direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a home improvement store for over three years. He works Monday through Thursday from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM. Your primary goal will be to assist him in gaining and maintaining job skills while promoting his independence in the workplace. This rewarding position will allow you to make a significant and positive impact on his life, fostering his growth and independence.
Norristown PA - As a Job Coach, you will provide direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a convenience store for over three years. He works on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Your primary role will be to assist him in developing and maintaining essential job skills while promoting his independence in the workplace. This position offers you a unique opportunity to positively impact his life by fostering professional growth and independence.
Wyncote PA- We are seeking a Job Coach to provide direct, individual support to a young man who has worked in a retail store for over three years. He works Mondays and Fridays from 11:45 AM to 4:30 PM. Your role will be to help him strengthen and maintain job skills, increase workplace independence, and support consistent performance. This position is a hands-on opportunity to encourage his professional development and make a meaningful, positive impact on his day-to-day work life.
Broomall, PA- We are seeking a Job Coach to provide one-on-one support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a supermarket for more than three years. He works Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8:50 AM to 1:15 PM. Your primary responsibility will be to help him develop and sustain essential job skills, encourage greater independence on the job, and support consistent workplace routines. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to foster his professional growth.
Folsom PA- As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for providing direct support to a young man who has been successfully employed at a home improvement store for over a year. He works Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM. Your primary goal will be to assist him in gaining and maintaining job skills while promoting his independence in the workplace. This rewarding position will allow you to make a significant and positive impact on his life.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- 1 plus years of experience in Education, Social Services or Business preferred.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Possess valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Must have access to an automobile and internet access at home.
- Able to pass all required background checks.
