In this dynamic role, you'll not only manage the admissions process but also oversee our court deferral program, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and procedures. WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrest's programming.
- Schedule and complete intakes for juveniles referred to each program.
- Collect accurate information concerning the attendance and performance of juvenile participants.
- Maintain close collaboration with referral sources.
- Maintain tracking of Emergency Shelter length of stay.
- Maintain waiver requests.
- Lead daily educational groups to referred clients
- Provide consultation/education services as needed to other Hillcrest staff and outside professional groups and community members.
QualificationsWHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Human Services field is required.
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Occasional work may need to be performed outside these hours.
- Previous work with juveniles highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
