Project Manager
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Project Manager to support a Workforce Technical Assistance (TA) contract focused on improving workforce outcomes. The Project Manager will oversee day‑to‑day project operations, manage client and stakeholder engagement, ensure timely and high‑quality deliverables, and collaborate closely with the Project Director to maintain strong performance aligned with contract requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead overall contract management, including project kickoff, work plan development, milestone tracking, staffing coordination, and deliverable management.
- Oversee monthly reporting and invoicing processes, ensuring alignment across performance, TA content, and coaching workstreams.
- Serve as the primary coordination point with the COR and internal team, ensuring all deliverables meet 508 compliance standards.
- Identify risks, issues, and emerging trends among grantees; propose solutions such as targeted webinars, resources, or deliverables.
- Manage administrative support functions, including meeting coordination, tracking grantee inquiries, and maintaining distribution lists and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, public administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience managing federal or state government contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and client‑facing experience, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate across multiple workstreams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop effective solutions.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Additional Information
- Job Type: Full-time key personnel; position is contingent upon contract award
- Location: Remote, no travel anticipated.
