Summary:
The Mid-Level Officer (MLO) manages a portfolio of 500-700 Mid-Level donors. The MLO regularly engages though written correspondence, electronic correspondence, and by phone with donors to cultivate, steward, and solicit donations. The MLO qualifies Mid-Level donors for further engagement and management by the Major Gifts team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Executes a tiered, personalized communications plan for donors that maintains a healthy cycle of cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation. Includes completing an introduction series for all portfolio donors and creating and sending timely thank you notes and impact reporting.
- Maintenance of a tiered caseload of 600-700 Mid-Level donors through regular caseload refreshes. Improves donor and value retention, increases revenue per donor, and cultivates, qualifies, and transitions donors into Major Gifts and Planned Giving. Maintains records of donor engagement in the CRM and provides regular reports to key stakeholders.
- Engages with organization’s direct service staff, participants, and the Communications program in order to present clear and compelling need to donors.

QualificationsEducation:
Associates in a related field Required
Bachelors in a related field Preferred
Years of Experience:
3 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure:
Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification* (or Ability to Obtain within first 90 days) Required
*In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.
