Overview:
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Comprehensive Weight Loss Solutions team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives while working alongside an experienced, collaborative, and multidisciplinary care team dedicated to long-term weight management success through both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
Position Highlights
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, supporting a strong work-life balance
- Care Setting: A dynamic blend of inpatient and outpatient care
- Team Environment: Work closely with a well-established team of 3 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and 7 clinical and administrative support staff
- Hospital Coverage: Rounding at Sentara Obici Hospital
- Call: No call responsibilities
- Clinical Focus: Pre- and post-operative management, patient education, and ongoing longitudinal care for bariatric and weight loss patients
