Starick is a not-for-profit organisation operating primarily in the Perth Metropolitan South-East Corridor. Starick supports women, children and young people experiencing and escaping family and domestic violence across the continuum of prevention, early intervention, crisis and healing.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practice Lead to oversee the development and implementation of best practices within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and ensuring that our organisation is operating at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.
This is a full-time position on a 2-year fixed term contract.
About the role
- Leading and supporting family and domestic violence informed practice
- Supporting client recovery and wellbeing
- Supporting system and service improvement
- Lead a team of professionals to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all projects are aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the organisation is meeting their needs
- Monitor and analyse industry trends to ensure that the organisation is staying ahead of the curve
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members are up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices
- Develop new and review and update existing policies and procedures that guide and improve specialist FDV practice
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Extensive experience in a leadership role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
