He aha te tūranga - About the role:
Making over 70,000 trips per year, the St John Health Shuttle is a free community service that transports people to and from essential health and wellbeing appointments. The service is often used by older people, by people who are unable to drive a vehicle and those who cannot access other transport options.
Reporting to the Community Transport Manager, this position will be responsible for providing key administration and coordination functions, to support to our local team of Community Transport Management team.
You will:
- Being a professional first point of contact for members of the public wanting to book our services and scheduling in these bookings
- Ensure accurate entry of customer data and the maintenance of client records (both electronic and hardcopy) which meet the requirements of the Privacy Act
- Ensure Health Shuttle donation revenue is receipted and deposited in a timely, professional manner.
- Assist the Team Leader in coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Assist the Team Leader in recording, investigating and following up on incidents / complaints – when required and appropriate.
- Ensure the timely processing of recruitment documents and tracking of volunteers through the recruitment process, including any training documentation necessary.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working either 8am-4.30pm or 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
