Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the project management and successful execution of events for Operation Warm's
corporate, community, and grant funders. The person in this role is responsible for funder and beneficiary management, coordination
of event logistics, and execution of coat/shoe gifting events.
This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage programs that operate outside the natural flow of event operations
- Execute organization projects and partner programs that adhere to timelines, program requirements, and funder expectations
- Proactively gather necessary information to plan and implement projects
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Maintain proactive communication with program stakeholders – beneficiaries, funders, and internal teams.
- Identify and reports deadline conflicts or delays to management
- Monitor all projects and adjust as needed via the project management software application, Asana, to ensure that all stakeholders collaborating seamlessly
- Build and maintain effective relationships
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
Other Qualifications
- Previous event planning experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity, as well as enthusiasm for our mission
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneNote)
- Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems preferred
- Experience with Give Lively and Asana preferred
- Works independently and collaboratively, with maturity and confidence
- Demonstrates good judgement and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
