As Lead Impact Evaluation, you will lead Medhaâs strategy to evaluate, document, and enhance the impact of its programs. Your work will shape how data and insights influence decision-making internally and externally. As Medha continues to scale, you will ensure its programs are backed by rigorous, real-time evidence and continuous. You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas, experience, and vision to the platform we have created here at Medha. One that touches the lives of tens of thousands of students across hundreds of educational institutions in Tier II, III, and IV cities.
WHAT WOULD YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Strategy and Framework Development-
- Lead the design of Medhaâs organization-wide impact strategy and theory of change.
- Develop and refine frameworks, tools, and systems for measuring impact.
- Align evaluation strategy with program design, government priorities, and donor needs.
Research, Evaluation & Innovation-
- Design and manage evaluationsâbaseline, midline, endlineâand experimental designs like RCTs.
- Pilot and implement innovative methods to measure outcomes and effectiveness of programs.
- Stay updated with global evaluation practices and integrate emerging tools and trends.
Data Systems & Insights
- Guide the collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization of program data.
- Translate data into actionable insights for decision-makers and partners.
Team Building & Partnerships
- Mentor a team of data analysts, field researchers, and evaluation associates.
- Build partnerships with academic experts, research organizations, and consultants.
- Manage external evaluations, from RFPs to quality assurance and dissemination.
Communication, Learning & Advocacy
- Prepare high-quality evaluation reports, presentations, and publications for various stakeholders.
- Facilitate organizational learning through reflective sessions and evidence-sharing.
- Represent Medha at learning networks, policy forums, and public speaking events.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Strong experience leading impact evaluation and research in the development sector.
- Hands-on expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods, including sampling, survey design, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as R, Stata, or Python.
- Ability to connect data with decision-makingâstorytelling with numbers.
- Strong writing and communication skills to convey complex findings.
- Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindsetâself-starter with resilience.
