ELEVATE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to support our growing work helping clients design and implement strategic programs focused on business and human rights. In this role, you will be a part of our advisory practice in Asia, working closely with clients to identify, understand, and address the potential human rights and labor risks associated with hiring and recruitment of foreign migrant workers. You will engage in a variety of high-impact projects and work with several external stakeholders across APAC to support our client’s commitments to the employer pays principle and delivery of multi-million-dollar worker repayment / remediation initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities
This role provides candidates with the opportunity to build skills in sustainability consulting and human rights, a dynamic and growing sector. The Associate will be instrumental in the delivery of our Human Rights practice plan through:
- Ownership of the implementation of client’s former worker reimbursement initiatives, including overseeing quality assurance on project delivery, workplan, and contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with ELEVATE and client standards, and industry best practices;
- Provide remote support to local teams on activity definition, technical advisory, and worker engagement to ensure successful and timely project delivery;
- Contribution to written client deliverables, including final reports, presentations, and data-driven deliverables /databases to track project progress;
- Follow training and development plan as directed;
- Contribution to proposal writing as directed by Senior Consultants and other staff as allocated
- Accurate and timely usage of ELEVATE platforms and processes (Wrike, Salesforce, COP and Revenue Recognition, etc.);
- Provide assistance on special projects, service research, project scheduling and coordination to help the Human Rights practice accomplish its goals and objectives;
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Consulting and project management experience preferred;
- Highly analytical and effective communicator, with proven track record of performing quantitative and qualitative analysis that leads to actionable insights;
- Experience in utilizing data visualization programs / tools (e.g.: Tableau) and advanced Excel skills are highly desirable;
- Strong design skills of effective systems for data collection, monitoring, storage, analysis, and reporting across project activities;
- Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) English, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals / stakeholders. Ability to speak Bahasa Malay is a plus;
- Strong information processing skills – research, multiple approaches to reasoning, analytical and synthetic thinking, critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail conceptual and system thinking;
- Efficient multi-tasker and able to coordinate people at all levels of an organisation while also being able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Strong organizational skills – self-motivation, time management, planning, prioritizing, flexibility;
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong teamwork and alignment with ELEVATE’s core value including high standards of integrity, an innovative spirit, a growth mindset, and commitment to excellence;
