INTRODUCTION
Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies (AGGP) has embarked on a journey to develop responsible entrepreneurs across the African continent in service of the common good. AGGP utilizes a long-term strategy in developing exceptional value-driven, high-impact responsible entrepreneurship for the purpose of job creation and poverty alleviation. Wavumbuzi - one of the programs supported by AGGP – is a free annual six-week online entrepreneurship challenge focused on developing the entrepreneurial mindset of secondary / high school learners throughout the country.
ROLE FOCUS
The role will be the custodian of the content library for Wavumbuzi, conceptualising, researching, adapting, editing, and maintaining existing and new content used across various East African countries. Collaborate with designers, developers, learner and student support, project managers, subject matter experts and external partners, including government stakeholders.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
● Organising and maintaining the growing learning content library that supports the Wavumbuzi Challenge.
● Reviewing, synthesising and implementing feedback and changes from stakeholders in various countries.
● Researching, through secondary and primary research, case studies and source materials relevant to the Wavumbuzi challenge learning development outcomes, focused on entrepreneurship and innovation across Africa.
● Constantly improving, alongside the Product and Programme Managers, a deep understanding of the various stakeholders of The Wavumbuzi Challenge
● Developing solutions for various content types, including but not limited to podcasts, interactive videos, microlearning, reinforcement learning, animations, infographics, rich media articles, guides, gamification.
● Outlining and developing interactive scenarios and case studies
● Creating engaging instructional writing that is creative, concise, and persuasive.
● Developing effective assessment questions, quality distractors and practice interactions that accurately test the learners' ability to meet those objectives.
● Researching industry trends and make recommendations to the team on a constant basis, to maintain our innovative approach to learning solutions.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Critical Skills/Experience
● Honours Degree in Journalism or related qualification.
● Two years relevant working experience within an e-learning, media, training, or a L&D related role.
● Attention to detail.
● Strong lateral thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
● A high level of confidence, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
● A solid understanding of the principles of adult learning and/or child learning and of learning.
● An excellent communicator, with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and colleagues.
● Meticulous detail with grammar and spelling will result in accessible, perfect learning materials and supporting copy in English.
