What You'll Actually Do
No two shifts look exactly the same - and that's what makes this role rewarding.
As a DSP, you'll help individuals:
- Live independently in their home
- Shop, cook, and manage daily routines
- Get to appointments and community activities
- Build confidence and life skills
- Experience new opportunities and meaningful moments
You'll also:
- Support medication administration and health-related needs
- Complete electronic documentation and service notes
- Assist with household routines and daily living activities
- Respond to behavioral or emergency situations using the provided training
- Build positive, meaningful relationships with the individuals you support

You do not need previous DSP experience - we can teach the skills.

Basic Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
- Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Willingness to complete required training and certifications
