Description
Description: Provide a structured class teaching students in baseball skills and various other sports related to the sports department.
- Baseball instructors teach children ranging in age from 3 to 11 years old the basics of playing the sport. This includes batting, fielding, catching, and baserunning.
- Baseball instructors coordinate the registration of participants.
- All sports instructors assist in the success of all sports program duties such as fundraising, special events, and marketing.
- All sports instructors ensure the safety of all program participants.
- Hours: Part-time, non-exempt
- Must be available from Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Wage: $16.90 per hour

QualificationsQualifications: Baseball instructors must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid work permit if they are under the age of 18.
- Qualified applicants have experience working with children (paid or volunteer), but it is not required.
- All potential employees must submit to and comply with all requirements for employment including, but not limited to, a criminal background check, drug and alcohol testing, health screening, and tuberculosis test.
- Employees must be CPR/first aid certified within the first 30 days of employment and kept current for condition of continued employment. The Anaheim Family YMCA periodically provides CPR/first aid training to staff who need certification.
