We are currently seeking an Instructional
Designer to join our People & Transformation team to
design and develop blended learning programs that meet our
organisational learning needs.
In this role, you can expect to work in consultation with the
business to transform their learning needs into creative and
innovative learning solutions. This role will own the design and
development of a broad range of learning materials across
Bethanie.
- Permanent role, working full-time Monday to Friday, based
at our West Perth office
- Flexible working arrangements available, including the
opportunity to work from home. We work a minimum of 3 days in
the office per week.
About the role
Reporting to our Learning & Development Manager, key
responsibilities include:
- Transform business learning needs into best practice and
varied learning solutions, including eLearning, face-to-face,
workshops, video and other blended solutions
- Engage and consult with internal stakeholders and external
providers to deliver quality learning solutions
- Work with subject matter experts to design and develop new
content, and also transform and improve existing
content
- Coordinate the LMS internal system, including internal
troubleshooting and engagement with external vendors.
About you
You are passionate about delivering best practice content, and
pride yourself on delivering creative and blended learning
solutions and working in consultation with various stakeholder
groups. You will also bring:
- A recognised qualification or relevant experience in
education, adult learning, training or related
disciplines
- Knowledge of contemporary instructional design and adult
learning principles, with experience designing, developing and
reviewing learning materials
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to
articulate complex / technical training material into
non-technical formats
- Experience working with various eLearning tools, graphic
design platforms, video and LMS knowledge
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability
to work to multiple competing priorities whilst delivering
content with a strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and
external business partners to achieve common organisational
objectives
