JOB DESCRIPTION – VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR
1. Role Summary
The Vocational Instructor is responsible for assessing students’ abilities, delivering skill-based training, and supporting their overall development through structured vocational programs.
2. Key Responsibilities
Assess students’ learning abilities, interests, and skill levels
Plan and deliver vocational skill training sessions
Provide hands-on practical training to enhance employability skills
Track and evaluate student progress regularly
Maintain proper documentation, including progress reports and training records
Manage student behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
3. Additional Responsibilities
Adapt training methods based on individual student needs
Encourage participation and skill development
Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team when required
Requirements
Minimum
3 years of relevant experience in vocational training or special education
Qualification in
DVR / B.Ed / D.Ed in Special EducationRCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certification is mandatory
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
