RESEARCH ASSOCIATE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

We’re a small, new advisory firm with decades of experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. We’re looking for a research associate contractor to help us on firm development activities and client projects across a variety of issues including: education, environment, health, economic opportunity, racial equity, civic infrastructure, and arts and culture.
SCOPE OF WORK
You will help on client projects and firm development needs. The scope of work could include the following:
Assist with development of discussion guides and conduct information-gathering interviews with clients;
Join client team meetings for brainstorming, problem-solving, and deliverable development;
Translate findings into creative, data-based insights to inform client recommendations;
Support the creation of articles, publications, and blog posts through research, writing, and editing;
Assist with research and draft business development proposals;
Help to build templates, tools, and systems for the support of philanthropist clients;
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for business development meetings and collateral purposes.
