As a direct report to the CEO, the Senior Director of Web Strategy & Management will collaborate closely with the Foundation’s senior leaders, marketing, programs, and content teams to oversee all aspects of developing a new website and online experience for Lean In.
What You Will Do
- As the senior leader overseeing this extensive web project, you will lead cross-functional collaboration and external partnerships to:
- Reimagine and redesign the user experience, including several sections of the site that are technically robust
- Simplify and reorganize the site's information architecture and content
- Develop a new look/feel and user interface aligned with the Lean In brand
- Ensure the content management and analytics systems meet business needs and are user-friendly
- Ensure all aspects of the web ecosystem are optimized, including SEO and email marketing
- Additionally, you will guide updates and additions to the current website during the transition and manage a small but powerful web/digital team.
What You Will Bring
- Senior product management leadership experience including a successful track record overseeing consumer web projects that are similar in size and complexity. 10 years of experience is ideal.
- Thought leadership in UX, architecture, and the server-side elements of websites.
- Ability to select and effectively manage external design and development partners.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, or similar web environments is advantageous.
- Highly collaborative working style.
- Willingness to play high and low - to think strategically and also dig into the details and execute.
What We Will Offer You
- The approximate salary range for this position is $225,000- $285,000. The actual base salary offered may vary depending on candidate qualifications, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and analysis of internal pay equity.

Important Information
- We may uplevel the position to the Vice President level for a very well-qualified candidate.
- This is a full-time, managerial role with an anticipated duration of 12-18 months.
- We are a remote-first organization and practice core hours between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm Pacific Time.
- Occasional travel is required to attend organization-wide offsites and events.
- The selected individual must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
