Overview/Summary:
The Premier Lacrosse League seeks a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead program operations deliverables and manage customer registration system for the PLL Youth team. You'll spearhead the timely delivery of program deliverables, act as a Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, and oversee the development and maintenance of the program registration system, reporting directly to the SVP of Youth Lacrosse. Proven project management experience, Agile methodologies expertise (Scrum preferred), strong technical and analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- As a Project Manager and Scrum Master, you'll be responsible for leveraging tools like Monday.com to report key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage team progress.
- Facilitate the achievement of program timelines and objectives by fulfilling a Scrum role across the Youth organization; remove roadblocks and impediments for the project team
- Communicate project progress and status updates to stakeholders regularly
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, operations, sales, and marketing
- Lead the programming, maintenance, and management of the League Apps registration system for PLL Youth events
- Build and launch program registrations for multiple events throughout the calendar year
- Management each program throughout its lifespan (including customer requests/service, payment plans, internal changes, etc.),
- Reporting and reconciliation lead for registration and financial status
- Interface between PLL and LeagueApps teams regarding system development.
- Work directly with leadership to monitor and analyze system performance metrics, document project processes and standard operating procedures, and identify and implement opportunities for system and process improvement
- Work cross functionally with other PLL business units to maximize youth business effectiveness
Experience and Skillset:
- 4-5 years’ experience in a project management role (preferably in a sporting field)
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing project management methodologies, tools, and software to build systems and manage processes
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing customer registration management software to build systems and manage processes (preferably League Apps)
- Experience with Scrum methodology and practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with customer registration web technologies (Ex., LeagueApps, SportsEngine)
- Experience with Agile tools, like Jira, Monday.com
- Knowledge of the youth sports landscape with lacrosse-specific knowledge is a bonus
Compensation:
- $80,000 to $90,000 annually
- Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
