Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing
issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.
The Senior Engagement Manager on the Be The People Experience & Activation team serves as the relationship and execution owner for one of BTP's two growth tracks — Regional Networks or Organizational Networks. Be The People is building a movement of 900,000+ leader ambassadors, and the growth that matters most happens on the ground, through the partnerships this role builds and holds.
The Senior Engagement Manager is the relationship and execution owner for their track — building and holding the partnerships that turn strategy into activation. On the regional side, that means working with local leaders and implementing organizations. On the organizational side, it means engaging national leader networks and affiliates. In both cases, the Sr. EM owns the full landscape of their track: developing context-specific engagement strategies and working closely with their Community Manager to run the convenings and touchpoints that build real community on the ground.
Year 1 is not about executing a known playbook — it is about building one. Each market and each partner is a discrete experiment designed to surface what makes activation work. The learning this role generates directly shapes how BTP scales its leader engagement strategy over time.
The Sr. Engagement Manager reports to the Director of Platform Growth & Leader Activation and manages a Community Manager.
